With a mission to conserve the remaining Atlantic Rainforest and its wildlife, Reserva Ecológica de Guapiaçu Valley (REGUA) focuses its work in the Guapiaçu river basin near Rio de Janeiro. Rainforest Trust partners with REGUA to purchase land that will expand REGUA’s 20,000-acre reserve and provide improved protection for species facing extinction.
