Seth joins Rainforest Trust with a background in conservation, public service, and communications.

Previously, Seth led the Ocmulgee National Park and Preserve Initiative, working alongside community and Tribal partners to protect some of the most culturally and ecologically significant sites in the American Southeast. He helped bring together neighbors, Tribal leaders and citizens, and a bipartisan coalition of elected officials to advance the effort to establish Georgia’s first National Park and Preserve. He also served as Mayor Pro Tempore of Macon, Georgia and is a proud AmeriCorps alum.

Outside of work, Seth enjoys fly tying and fishing, reading, writing, and spending time outdoors with his wife and their young son. They enjoy traveling in Central America, exploring its rainforests and rivers, and learning from local stewards while sharing a love of nature with their son.
