Kayla joined Rainforest Trust in 2026 as Philanthropy Operations Coordinator, bringing more than a decade of experience in nonprofit operations, fundraising systems and cross-functional project management. Her background includes work with conservation organizations throughout the American Southwest, supporting donor operations, CRM systems, grants and digital fundraising. She is passionate about creating systems that make work easier for the people using them and help mission-driven organizations focus more of their energy on impact.

Based in Arizona, Kayla lives with her husband, son, and three dogs. Outside of work, she can usually be found crocheting, watching anime, listening to an aggressively eclectic mix of music, or enjoying the desert landscape she calls home.
