Giovanna (Gigi) Tapia is a sustainability and communications professional passionate about protecting the natural world and advancing a more sustainable development for generations to come. Her career has taken her across sustainability, nature restoration, environmental strategy, and development, working with teams and organizations in the U.S. and U.K.

She holds an MSc in Environmental & Sustainable Development from University College London and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington. Having lived and worked in several countries, she brings an international perspective to her work and a deep appreciation for the many people, communities, and ecosystems that make our planet so unique. She is particularly passionate about conservation, sustainable development, and finding ways to bring people together around solutions that benefit both nature and communities.

In her free time, she loves trying new coffee shops, running, practicing yoga, and traveling.
