Emma has worked in various charity finance and administration roles for ten years and began working at Rainforest Trust UK in November 2023. She has an MSc in International Development from the University of Bath and got her AAT Level 3 diploma while working for her father’s accountancy firm. She loves working for not for profit organisations and is happiest when working to support causes that are important to her – such as protecting the rainforests!

Emma has been passionate about the conservation of rainforests since visiting incredible forests in countries such as Uganda, Borneo and Costa Rica on her travels. She is most inspired when exploring new parts of the world and spending time in nature. She loves hiking and started doing multi-day routes when living in British Columbia. Emma lives in Shropshire and loves reading, cooking and walking her mum’s dog in her free time.
