Charlotte is a finance professional with deep experience in risk, assurance, audit, financial reporting and governance, and a track record of convening stakeholders and advocating publicly for the integration of nature and finance.

She grew up in the English countryside with a love of nature from a young age and joined the environmental club at her primary school. Moving to the Isle of Man, the world’s only entire-nation UNESCO Biosphere, deepened her awareness of how much we depend on nature and the ecosystem services it provides, and why we must value it properly. She founded the Deloitte Isle of Man Climate Collective, which won the UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man Award (Economy Category). It brought together leaders from financial services, conservation, government and regulators across the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Gibraltar and the UK to strengthen understanding of nature-related risk and sustainable finance.

Charlotte has spoken at a range of business networking events on nature and climate and what they mean for businesses.

A chartered accountant (ACA), Charlotte has served on the Board of the Isle of Man Society of Chartered Accountants since 2015, including as Deputy Chair and Chair, and is a former board member of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce. She joined the Rainforest Trust UK board to contribute her governance, financial oversight and sustainability experience to the permanent protection of the world’s most threatened ecosystems.
