Save a Vital Corridor for Africa’s Most Endangered Species
TRIPLE YOUR DONATIONTRIPLE YOUR DONATIONTriple Your Impact to protect 316,000 acres of rainforest in the Congo.
Elephants, Okapi, Chimpanzees, and Pangolins once roamed freely through the vast rainforests of the Congo Basin. Today, their forest home is vanishing at an alarming rate. Since 2016, more than one million acres are lost every year in the Democratic Republic of Congo alone. Mining, charcoal production, and unchecked deforestation are closing in, cutting these species off from the land they need to survive.
We need your help to protect endangered species and their habitats in the Congo rainforest.
This Giving Tuesday, together, we can create a permanent corridor linking Maiko National Park and the Okapi Wildlife Reserve—a lifeline for endangered wildlife and a barrier against destruction. Our project will protect 316,294 critical acres of rainforest in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Your gift will help:
-

-
- Protect 316,294 acres of rainforest currently at immediate risk.
- Secure over 76 million metric tons of carbon, equal to taking 17.8 million cars off the road for an entire year.
- Safeguard cherished endangered species, including African Forest Elephants, Okapi, Chimpanzees, Giant Ground Pangolins, and Grey Parrots.
- Empower local communities through our trusted partner, Réseau pour la Conservation et la Réhabilitation des Écosystèmes Forestiers (Réseau CREF), ensuring long-term stewardship of protected lands.
