We are committed to protecting & restoring species’ populations and habitats in Africa’s most populous nation. The SW/Niger Delta Forest Project is a multi-stakeholder project that evolved gradually from a proposed Nigerian-Cameroon chimpanzee population surveys in priority sites identified for southwestern and Niger Delta Nigeria in the 2011 Regional Action Plan (www.ellioti.org) to save the endangered ape from extinction.
