Valencia joined Rainforest Trust in 2026 as Philanthropy Manager, Annual Giving. Prior to Rainforest Trust, she was a Donor Engagement Associate at the Center for International Environmental Law. Valencia brings strategic fundraising and storytelling to donor programs, connecting individuals with opportunities to create impact.

She has a Bachelor’s in History and Political Science from Virginia Tech, and went to graduate school for History at Virginia Tech. Based in Phoenix, AZ with her partner, a cat, and a dog, Valencia enjoys organizing on environmental issues, competitive weightlifting, baking way too many desserts, and exploring Arizona’s beautiful desert scenery.
