Rachel joined Rainforest Trust in 2025 as Grants Specialist, following her work with numerous international NGOs focused on conservation and ecosystem restoration. Her dedication to sustainability, human rights, and strategic climate solutions drew her to Rainforest Trust.

Rachel holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University, where she studied the social, political, and economic drivers of deforestation in the Amazon Basin. A proud Baltimore-native, she has lived in Washington, DC, Bologna, Rome, Nairobi, and now New York City.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys studying languages including French, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese, and exploring NYC art exhibits.
