Julie Davis-Beasely comes to Rainforest Trust with over a decade of experience in fund development and individual giving, working with mission-driven organizations throughout her career.

Her path to fundraising began with her undergraduate studies in Social Entrepreneurship and community development work in the Appalachian region where she was raised and completed her BA degree. These experiences have shaped her into a fundraiser who is tenacious, collaborative, and resourceful.

Her work is also shaped by her background in Ethics (MA Ethics, Yale University 19’) which she integrates into both her process and purpose as a fundraiser. She values meaningful relationships with donors and organizational stakeholders, intentionally seeking long-term partnerships grounded in reciprocal investment.

In addition to her work with Rainforest Trust, Julie enjoys a vibrant life with her husband in Brooklyn, NY as playwright and screen-writer, producer, and visual artist. She also enjoys teaching Yoga, playing soccer, and running.
