John Grandy is a retired financial services executive based in Toronto with experience in all aspects of financial services management including equity research, underwriting, international banking, and investment management.

He is now dedicating his life to working with environmental causes. In addition to his work with Rainforest Trust, John has supported conservation and environmental protection through volunteerism for several of Canada’s most important nonprofit organizations including Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society (Treasurer & Chair of Finance Committee; National President), Nature Conservancy of Canada (National Director) and Bruce Trail Conservancy (Vice-Chair of Board and Chair of Land Securement Committee). John was educated at the University of Toronto and at Oxford University.
