Every day, more of our planet’s ecosystems are destroyed. But our partners work on the front lines of conservation. By supporting one of these projects, you can help stop habitat loss before it begins.
This February, Rainforest Trust is celebrating our Conservation Heroes — a global network of people contributing every month to save hundreds of thousands of acres of rainforest each and every year.
Approximately 100 elephants are killed every day, and have disappeared from 75% of their original range. Forest Elephants are more imperiled than their Savannah counterparts.
The vast majority of Earth’s biodiversity lives in the tropics. But tropical ecosystems are also some of the most endangered. By focusing on the tropics, we’re focusing on protecting the most biodiverse and threatened areas of our planet.
“Every minute, almost 50 acres of rainforest are lost forever and critically endangered species lose their habitat.”
This initiative was made possible by a passionate donor who has pledged to match every dollar raised by Rainforest Trust through 2020.
